I got to play in the snow in Lakeview with my friends. I helped my Papa shovel snow off the sidewalk. I also got to make snow angels. And I had fun! When we went sledding we fell over lots of times and it didn’t hurt at all!

Lefse is a Norwegian flat brad . Lefse is made with potatoes, flour, butter, and cream. Norwegians have been making lefse for over 400 years. In our family, lefse is served at Thanksgiving and Christmas. To eat lefse spread with butter, sprinkle with sugar, then roll up and enjoy!
Lefse recipe:
5 large potatoes, cooked and cooled (8 cups riced)
1 Tablespoon salt
1-2 cups sweet cream
3 Tablespoons butter
1-2 cups flour to each cup potatoes
Add butter and salt to cooked/cooled/riced potatoes. Chill overnight. Add flour and mix by hand. Make dough into a ball. Cut into 8 pieces. Roll each piece in flour. Pat into discs. Then roll out. Heat lefse griddle to 500 degrees. Cook rolled dough on each side for 1 -2 minutes, watching for bubbles.
